The One Punch Man film will be directed by a man who knows a thing or two about successful franchises: Justin Lin, the man who made Fast & Furious parts three, four, five, six, and nine.
According to Deadline, Sony Pictures is hoping to make a new film series out of One Punch Man. The adaptation of the story by Japanese artist ONE will follow Saitama, the hero who is capable of defeating his enemies with a single punch. The writers of Venom and Jumanji are working on the script.
This is a bold and exciting update for the live action take on one of the biggest Manga properties, despite the fact that Lin won't be directing it. The perfect fit for Lin is the over the top action and fight sequence.
