GM will officially reveal Chevy Blazer EV on July 18th

There will be a proper reveal of the Chevy blazer EV on July 18. The all-electric mid-sized SUV is expected to go on sale next year.

Last year, GM teased electric versions of its SUV's. It hasn't set the same pricing expectations for the Blazer as it has for the Equinox.

Chevy's compact and mid-sized SUVs are the equinox and blazer. The Blazer EV is expected to be an official debut later this year. The foundation for the next generation of electric vehicles will be built on GM's Ultium battery and engine platform.

According to Kelley Blue Book, the Chevy Blazer is not the most popular SUV in the world. The Equinox has a shorter wheelbase and less storage capacity than the Blazer. With all-wheel drive, the price goes up to $36, 100.

Chevy would be at the forefront of GM's $35 billion push toelectrify its entire lineup by 2040 with the upcoming arrival of the Equinox EV. The company is also making the Chevy Bolt EV and EUV, as well as the Hummer EV pickup truck and SUV.
