Kevin Spacey was charged with four counts of sexual assault against three men, and one count of "causing a person to engage in penetrative sexual activity without consent," all of which he denies.

The charges against Spacey were approved last month. There are three counts relating to interactions Spacey had with three men. The Old Vic theater in London was directed by Spacey. In response to the charges being authorized, Spacey said he would "voluntarily" appear in the U.K. and he was "disappointed" with the Crown Prosecution Service's decision to move forward with the charges. Spacey believes he can prove his innocence. There was an assault and battery charge against Spacey in the US. The first accuser to come forward against Spacey was Anthony Rapp.
