17 teams are going to have a mandatory three-day mini camp this week. Two weeks ago, the Miami Dolphins had their session, while the Philadelphia Eagles and Cincinnati Bengals are not.

Many players have taken part in voluntary organized team activities, but the mandatory part of these minicamps means some veterans will be making their first appearance this summer.

The Denver Broncos, after acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson and the Washington Commanders, will have a chance to get to know each other at mini camp.

Do you know anything about this week's activities? The biggest thing the reporters are watching is this week's mini camps.

It's a good idea to jump to:

ARI | ATL | BAL | BUF | CAR | CHI

CLE | DAL | DEN | HOU | JAX | KC

LAC | NO | NYJ | TEN | WAS

Arizona Cardinals

The first thing to watch is if Kyler Murray will show up. The coach thinks his quarterback will be there. The next thing is how well Murray connects with his receiving corps, most of whom he played with last season or has a history with.

Atlanta Falcons

There is free agency.

The first extended look at potential starting quarterbacks will be given to the Falcons. It is the first time since Matt Ryan was drafted in 2008 that there is a real competition for the spot in Atlanta. Ridder is going to have a chance to win the starting job, but he should be the one going in.

Baltimore Ravens

The quarterback missed voluntary workouts for the first time in his five-year career. He returned to an offense with a new wide receiver and a new running back. Jackson has some catching up to do since the Ravens have added 20% to their scheme.

Buffalo Bills

How much will Jordan Poyer participate in the mandatory mini camp? According to Brandon Beane, the general manager, there is no reason to believe that Poyer will not be in attendance. Poyer is in the last year of his contract and wants an extension. The All-Pro hasn't participated in any of the team's voluntary workouts.

Carolina Panthers

All eyes will be on Sam Darnold to see if he has improved his game in the years to come. Will third-round pick Matt Corral be able to compete for the starting job once training camp starts? The chemistry of the rebuilt offensive line and how left tackle Ikem Ekwonu handles pass-rushers are tied to that.

Chicago Bears

In the meeting room and on the field, teammates and coaches have heaped praise on quarterback Justin Fields for the progress he has made. With one last look at the Bears' offense before late July, can Fields prove that he has built continuity with the players around him and that his talents can elevate Chicago's offense in times of need? Fields is expected to grow within an offense that plays to his strengths. We will be looking for signs of that starting Tuesday.

Cleveland Browns

What will be the first impressions of the new offense? The Browns, who had been mostly a power- running offense the past two seasons, could be more open with the return of quarterback Deshaun Watson. There have been 24 civil lawsuits filed against him since he requested a trade from the Texans in January of 2021.

Dallas Cowboys

The Cowboys' offensive line will likely be the key to their success, but let's not get carried away in pads. Let's ponder about the connections between the two quarterbacks. The man is gone. Gallup is working on his knee. The new leader is CeeDee Lamb. Washington and Tolbert have not gotten much on-field work due to injuries. Early in the season in Gallup's absence, any work in the mini camp will be good.

Denver Broncos

You might have heard the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson in March, because you have a first-time head coach, a first-time offensive coordinators and a first-time defensive coordinators at the top of the coaching flow chart. The Broncos have shown immense potential through their on-field work. A good look at the status of the personnel groupings will be provided by mini camp.

Houston Texans

Is Davis Mills better? When Tyrod Taylor and Deshaun Watson were still on the roster, Mills was expected to be the starting quarterback. The coach said that Mills is getting on the same page with the offense, but that he picks it up quickly.

Jacksonville Jaguars

There is still some tinkering to be done, but the team has put the No. 1 overall pick at outside LB. Also keep an eye on running back Travis Etienne Jr., a former first-round pick who missed his debut season because of a foot injury, as he works as the No. 1 back while James Robinson recuperates from an injury. He will be used in the pass game.

Kansas City Chiefs

Who is watching Patrick Mahomes pass? The Chiefs rebuilt their receiving group with the signings of JuJu Smith-Schuster and Skyy Moore in the second round. There are jobs for players such as Josh Gordon and Justyn Ross who are competing for roster spots.

Los Angeles Chargers

The contract year for Montgomery is next year.

Will the additions of Sebastian Joseph-Day and Austin Johnson help the defense? While the trade for Mack and signing of Jackson received more attention, the Bolts need Joseph-Day and Johnson to play big and help a defense that allowed 139 yards per game last season.

New Orleans Saints

We won't be able to see this offense at full strength until quarterback Jameis Winston, wide receiver Michael Thomas, and tight end Taysom Hill are healthy again. However, we should get a glimpse of how high-powered the Saints can be again with running backalvinkambra expected to join the team along with new recievers The offense is poised to make a big leap once healthy.

New York Jets

The Jets will have their first look at Mekhi Becton since he injured his knee in the first week of last season. The 2020 first-round pick, who spent the past two months training in Texas, has been talked about in the off-season because of his injuries. His knee was repaired. What amount does he weigh? Is he moving to the right side? They can count on him. They may get some of the answers in mini camp.

Tennessee Titans

Which guard and tackle do you play? There is a hole on the offensive line. It's not clear where the second-round pick will play. He's expected to fill one of the starting vacancies created by the release of left guard Rodger Saffold III and the not re-signing of right tackle David Quessenberry. The Tennessee drafted Nicholas Petit-Frere in the third round. There are no clear-cut favorites to win the jobs, but veteran archer will be in the mix.

Washington Commanders

The most important thing to watch is the quarterback's connection with his receiver. In early-spring workouts, he clicked with first-round pick Jahan Dotson, but he will have to show he can connect with other targets as well. Terry was not at the voluntary sessions because he wanted a contract extension. Will he come back, and what kind of relationship will he have with the player?
