Putin's annual economic forum is going ahead but business tycoons want to hide their name tags and leave early, report says

The 25th anniversary of theSPIEF will take place from June 15 to June 18.

The media industry, green energy, Russia's relations with Asia, and food security are just some of the topics discussed at the forum. Russian officials are featured in many panels. The number of foreign representatives at this year's event was lower than in the past.

Insider's request for comment made outside of normal working hours was not responded to.

The price for a single ticket is 960,000 rubles per guest. Visa and Mastercard bank cards issued outside of Russia won't work in the country after sanctions, so attendees have been told to bring cash with them.
