The first Mexican born woman to travel to space was an electrical engineer from Guadalajara.

A group of people traveled to space on the New Shepard rocket.

All six passengers experienced zero gravity when the New Shepard rocket reached the edge of space after leaving the launch pad. The San Diego-Union Tribune reported that the rocket descended to the ground through its built-in parachute.
