Todd Howard introduced Starfield's player character who lands on the moon named "Kreet" in the year 2330 The game looks to be a mix of both third- and first-person perspectives. When exploring or jetpacking across large vistas like that of No Man's Sky, the former is used while the latter is used during the shooting section.
The last group of space explorers are referred to as the "constellations". New Atlantis is the capital city of the group.
With robust character creation, players are able to modify almost every aspect of themselves. Three specific starting skills can be provided by a background that the player chooses. Thediplomat gets persuasion, diplomacy, and bargaining
There are optional traits that come with advantages and drawbacks. The player can get a big discount at the church store but will lose access to the Enlightened store if they go toRaised Universal.
In the game, players can create outposts and hire people to keep them running. There are outposts that players can create.
It is possible to build spaceships for combat. There are battles in both third and first person, where players can shoot down other ships.

Starfield has over 100 solar systems and 1000 planets. There are goldilocks planets filled with life, as well as those with heavy resources.
Starfield is going to launch on PC and X/S.
