Kametz died earlier in the week on June 9 according to his event agent. His page will remain active until this Tuesday, June 14th, after he notified his loved ones of his passing. Donations that have yet to be used for his treatments should go to the Colon Cancer Coalition.
Kametz has voice work in Attack on Titan, Seven Deadly Sins, and Ferdinand, among others. Jerram and Nenji Ogata were both voiced by him in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
Everyone who donated and gave Kametz their well wishes was thanked by McManus. She wrote that she hoped she knew how appreciated she was and how much strength she provided. She said that she and Kametz were overwhelmed by the support they received from fans and the voice acting community. He wanted everyone to know how much his fans meant to him. He left this world peacefully and will always be loved by his family and friends. I don't know what I would do without my friend. It's comforting to know that his legacy will continue with his work and fans who are discovering what an extraordinary man he was.
