If you've ever considered buying a projector to live out your home theater dreams, you'll know that it's hard to do. Finding a compatible surround sound system is a lot of work.

The projector makers are aware of this. In the past few years, we've seen a huge increase in what's called " short throw projectors", simpler, all-in-one systems that you typically place on a TV stand a few feet from the wall.

Hisense's new PX1-Pro is one of the best if you don't want to watch netflix You don't need to worry about audio with this beautiful 4K laser projector that has a built-in sound system. You can get a screen and a Roku if you want.

It's all for one.

There is a photograph of Hi Sense.

The PX1 Pro is a device that can project up to a 130-inch screen and fill a room with sound. It is 20 inches wide and 13 inches deep and is the size of a projector.

The sleek silver rectangular is easy to position. Place it in front of the projector screen, level it with the feet on the bottom, and turn it on. Voil. Time to watch a movie.

There are red, green, and blue lasers that bounce onto a mirror and then onto your screen from a close distance with the PX1 pro. It has some of the best color accuracy I have ever seen on a projector right out of the box. Don't worry about being blinded. The lasers will be turned off when you get too close. I apologize, Dr. evil. You're welcome.

You can technically use it during the day if you choose. The image looks washed out when you use a projector in a dark room, but the shorter throw distance makes it better than most.

The 30 watt of built-in sound provided by the spec sheet is enough to fill a small to medium-sized room. It is likely that you will want a more robust surround sound system.

Plug and play.

You can use the built-in Android TV interface to log into your various accounts after you set the thing down and plug it in. There is one quirk. The version of the phone that came with it didn't have a compatible app. It's a big oversight for a projector. I would buy a Roku if I lived with this thing for a long time. This version of TV isn't terrible, but it doesn't have all the apps in one place.

The included audio return channel port on the projector made using it easy. I got better audio with a singleHDMI cable. If you just dropped everything on this projector, you don't need a big surround sound system. The 30 watt sound is well-tuned and allows for clear dialog and some decent rumble.
