An Iranian port official said that Iran's state-run shipping company started its first transfer of Russian goods to India.

According to the Islamic Republic News Agency, the Russian cargo consists of two 40-foot (12.192 meters) containers of wood laminated sheets.

The transfer is being coordinated by the Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines Group and is expected to take 25 days.
