Biden claimed that Zelenskyy didn't want to hear warnings about a Russian invasion.

On Friday, Biden told California donors that the US presented Zelenskyy with intel that the Russians were planning to attack.

Biden said there was no question. Zelenskyy was not interested in hearing it.

The Ukrainian officials said Biden's comments were not correct.

The Ukrainian presidential spokesman said that the phrase "did not want to hear" needs clarification.

According to LIGA.net, Zelenskyy and Biden spoke frankly about the threat Russia posed before the Russians invaded.

Zelenskyy requested preventative sanctions in anticipation of the invasion and hoped that the Ukrainians would encourage Russia to de-escalate.

"Our partners did not want to hear us," he said.

Mykhailo Podoliak, an adviser to Zelenskyy, told LIGA.net that Biden's words were not quite true.

Russia is developing different scenarios of expansion

Russia launched its invasion on February 24 and has recently made progress towards capturing the Luhansk region. The control of its major cities has been retained by Ukranian.

In recent days and weeks, Ukraine has asked for more weapons from the western nations. Reports indicate that Ukrainians are losing their lives in the fighting and that Russian forces are equipped with a lot of weaponry.
