Lipcius hit two home runs in an eight-run fifth as Tennessee beat Notre Dame to stay alive in the Super Regional.

Tennessee and Notre Dame will play a third game on Sunday with a spot in the College World Series at stake. The Fighting Irish defeated Tennessee. Tennessee is in the CWS for the sixth time. In 1951 the Vols finished second. The CWS appearances for Notre Dame were in 1957 and 2002.

Heading into the top of the fifth, Tennessee was clinging to a one-run lead, thanks in part to a first-inning double by datememe datememe. Lipcius hit a home run on the first pitch of the game. The man moved to third on the single by the guy. Jordan Beck hit a three-run shot that made it five. Evan Russell hit a home run. Dennies gave up a single to Christian Moore. He hit a three-run shot.

The Volunteers scored three times in the seventh to finish off the victory.

Jack Zyska hit a two-run home run for Notre Dame. After hitting four homers in the first round, the Irish were held to seven hits.

Chase Dollander gave up just two runs on five hits and improved his record to 0-10 on the season. He got five strikeouts.

Drew Gilbert is Tennessee's top hitter. Gilbert was thrown out of the game for arguing a strike call. The pitching coach was thrown out for running onto the field.

The Texas A&M baseball team will return to the College World Series for the first time in two years after a 4-3 victory over Louisville.

Texas A&M had a second-best record in the SEC after failing to qualify for the tournament a year ago.

The super regional sweep in College Station, Texas, came one year and two days after the Texas A&M hired away the man who had led the Frogs to five CWS in 18 years.

Nick Biddison hit two of the Hokies' five homers and six Tech pitchers combined to strike out 14 Sooners.

The Hokies rebounded from a loss in the first game to win Game 2.

The Longhorns came back from a five-run deficit to edge the Pirates on Dylan Campbell's bases- loaded single in the ninth.

Campbell's home run in the bottom of the eighth gave the Longhorns their first lead of the game.

The Texas team has a lot of fight in it. The team has proven it since the beginning. We are not going to give up.

The Ole Miss Rebels scored seven runs on five hits in the bottom of the sixth to beat the Southern Miss Golden Eagles.

The two pitchers combined to give up no hits the rest of the way.

In Chapel Hill, North Carolina, the Razorbacks defeated the Tar Heels by a score of four to one. Noland threw 61 of 89 pitches for strikes and only allowed six hits.

The Razorbacks scored three runs in the fifth on a home run by Stovall and a single by Slavens.
