There were a lot of announcements at Apple's event on June 6. Many new features will be coming to the iPhone later this year, with the full display of the new operating system. The features may look familiar to you.

Does the dark side of the operating system appeal to you?

It's hard not to compare the two operating systems when Apple announces a new software update. It's a battle of who started it and who finished it better. We've already outlined how the new lock screen and improvements to various apps that mirror some of the apps from the other side of the world can be found in the new version of Apple's mobile operating system.

Improvements in iPadOS 16 appear to further solidify Apple's lead when it comes to tablets and watches. Particularly with iPadOS 16, which is getting a massive boost in multitasking.

While Apple may sometimes launch new features years after they arrive on the best phones, they are more polished when they do launch on the iPad. It's hard not to notice the added customization in the app, and how it seems to put it closer to the operating system of choice.
