The January 6 Committee hearing was watched by nearly 20 million people.
On January 6th, the first major public hearing about the Capitol attack, the efforts to overturn the election, and what then- President Donald Trump knew before and during the attack was broadcasted live by Fox.
The committee members said that Trump and his allies staged an attempted coup and funded a misinformation campaign. Several Republican congressmen asked for pardons after January 6 after the attorney general's opinion that there wasn't election fraud.
As she responded to criticism from The View's Joy Behar, she claimed that the hearings "bombed".
The January 6 Committee's live hearings were not broadcasted by Fox News. It's shocking, isn't it. They had a lot to say about it. Carlson and Ingraham called it a witch hunt and downplayed what happened on the 6th.
Both shows had no commercial breaks last night. That tells you what to do. Murdoch is so desperate to keep his audience away from the hearing that he is willing to lose millions of dollars.
The View was wrong and Ingraham's show wasn't commercial free on Thursday night, according to a Fox News spokeswoman.

Ingraham claimed to have had two commercial breaks. Carlson's show didn't have a commercial break, whereas Ingraham went to commercial a few times.
It's false. We had two breaks. There are more fake news stories from The View. The hearings didn't go according to plan. Ingraham said to deal with it.
She said on her show that the attempt to connect the dots back to Trump was unsuccessful.
Tucker Carlson said the hearing was "insulting" and "deranged" while Sean Hannity said it was a "made-for-TV" campaign against President Trump.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, over 20 million people watched the hearings. The regular programming on Fox News averaged 3 million viewers.
In December, the January 6 committee reported that in January, MarkMeadows received a text from Ingraham telling him that Trump needed to call off the mob. Several Fox News hosts appeared to blame Trump for the riot, only to change their minds later that day.
The president should tell people in the Capitol to leave. All of us are hurt by this. In the midst of the riot, Ingraham sent a text message toMeadows.
Hannity called on Trump to ask people to leave the Capitol. Brian Kilmeade, a host of "Fox & Friends," requested that he be shown on television. It's destroying everything you've done.
