Peruvian shamans gathered to try to help their country's team reach the 2022 World Cup

A group of 13 Peruvian shamans performed spiritual rituals in order to support their country's football team in the World Cup play-offs against Australia.

The shaman conducted a ceremony on a hillside in Lima around a portrait of the team as they prepared to face the Socceroos.

They poked a picture of the Australia team with swords as a shaman blew a traditional wind instrument.

A victory ceremony has taken place. Walter Alarcon said that they have summoned all the shamans.

There are 13 shamans because of the upcoming game between Australia andPeru.
