It only makes sense to define the year through the songs we can't escape on our FYPs because TikTok has a greater influence on music right now.

The best TikTok songs of the year are listed here. You just got these out of your head. Sorry, I'm not able to.

"So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" by Caroline Polachek

In January, the song "So Hot You're Hurting My Feelings" was brought to the platform by TikTokkers. Polachek's vocals dominated the app for several weeks due to the easy Tik Tok dance.

"We Don't Talk About Bruno" from Encanto

In February, Encanto had a grip on pop culture. "We Don't Talk About Bruno" is one of Encanto's most popular songs. The song made it to the top of the Hot 100 and the soundtrack made it to a million. The Encanto jam was the go-to song for children and parents.

The most dramatic part of the song is when the cast transitions from singing "Like the grapes that thrive on the vine" to "He told me that..." They walked slowly into the room as something prevented them from completing the task at hand. The walk was based on the musical.

"Major Bag Alert" ft. Migos by DJ Khaled

A major bag alert has been issued. A major bag alert has been issued. Thanks to a TikTok trend in which users posted about exploitative situations where people or corporations raked in a lot of money, DJ Khaled's song had a comeback. The trend is critical of the way companies make money. There is a video that says "Mommy bloggers when they get pregnant again"

The Reading Rainbow theme song

The theme song from Reading Rainbow, a popular PBS educational show that aired from 1983 to 2006 is the most obscure song on the clock app. The portion of the song that goes, "Butterfly in the sky / I can go twice as high" was isolated by users. The audio with the Space Filter was accompanied by TikTokkers who engaged in this educational trend.

"Just A Cloud Away" by Pharrell Williams

"Just A Cloud Away," a song from the Despicable Me 2 soundtrack, went viral on TikTok in March. The song of the moment on our FYPs was the groovy song.

"As It Was" by Harry Styles

It pains me to call a Harry Styles track a TikTok song, but it's obvious that "As It Was" is popular. The platform will never be the same as it was since "As It Was" has been used in over two million TikToks.

"First Class" by Jack Harlow

Jack Harlow's "First Class" caused quite a bit of a stir. The most anticipated song on TikTok was teased by the Louisville rapper a week before it was released, and it quickly became the most popular song on the platform. The success of "First Class" is due to a sample of Fergie's "Glamorous" and Harlow's charms.

Harlow's album, Come Home the Kids Miss You, was not guaranteed a critical success because of the TikTok's love of "First Class". It received a positive rating from the website.

"About Damn Time" by Lizzo

Lizzo's "About Damn Time" is going to be the summer anthem. Thanks to its infectious beat and fun dance, the upbeat track took off on TikTok. Since it was released in April, "About Damn Time" has been used in 3 million videos.

"Jiggle Jiggle" by Duke & Jones and Louis Theroux

This wasn't a song until TikTok recorded it. Louis Theroux is on Chicken Shop Date with Amelia Dimoldenberg and he said "my money don't jiggle" He remembers writing a rap for an episode of Louis Theroux's Weird Weekends. The clip of Theroux was leveled up by adding auto tune and backing music as part of a series on TikTok.

Duke, Jones, and Theorux have all released a single of the clip. Over 5 million videos have been watched by the track.

"Material Girl" by Saucy Santana

Material Girl took over TikTok with its hook and vocals, and it was for the gworls who like the nicer things. It's the audio you use when you want to show off your wealth and money smarts, from shopping on a budget while looking fabulous to showing off your designer bags. More than one million videos have used the song, and Santana is on the covers of two magazines.

"Running Up That Hill (A Deal with God)" by Kate Bush

Who knew that Kate Bush would drop a needle during a scene in the Upside Down to get the show back into the public eye? Thanks to a TikTok trend that finds users recount their Vecna songs or the tracks that would save them from the show's current Big Bad, Bush is running back up those charts.
