When her contract ends on July 7, she will be leaving the company.

She will be using her real name, Saraya, moving forward, after thanking the company and its fans for their time with her.

The 29-year-old has not wrestled since December of last year because of a neck injury, but she vowed Friday to wrestle again in the future.

After signing with the company at the age of 18, she quickly rose to the top of the organization. She held the title for over two months before giving it up.

On her first day as a member of the main roster, she beat a surprise opponent to win the Divas Championship.

She was a mainstay in the women's division for years and held the Divas Championship twice.

After undergoing neck surgery in 2016 and missing a year and a half of action, she returned to the ring in December of last year as the leader of a stable called Absolution.

During a tag team match at a house show in New York City, she injured her neck and was unable to compete in the inaugural women's Royal Rumble match.

Asuka and Kairi Sane's tag team known as The Kabuki Warriors transitioned into a non-wrestling role as a result of the in-ring retirement of their manager, as well as the general manager's new role as a non-wrestling one.

The last time she was in person was in October of last year.

In the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic, WWE Backstage was canceled.

Edge returned from a neck injury that was thought to be a career-ending one and went on to win the WWF Championship.

If she gets cleared by doctors, a move to AEW is a possibility, as she will be free to decide where she goes if she returns in WWE.
