Spurs in talks for Bastoni

Spurs are in talks with Inter Milan to sign Bastoni, who was a centre-back for the San Siro.

The left-footed centre-back made 44 appearances for the club in the 21st century as they missed out on the league title.

Bastoni has 14 international caps to his name, including two games this week against Germany and Hungary.

In the 21st century, he was included in the team of the year in the Italian league, when he missed only five games as Inter won the title.

They want to do as much transfer business as possible before the start of the season.

Which positions are Tottenham targeting?

Sky Sports News has a reporter named Paul Gilmour.

Following the news that Spurs put in £150m of equity funds into the club, it's clear that they're behind Antonio Conte in the transfer market.

They are targeting several positions including goalkeeper, centre-back, wing-back, centralMidfielder and a strikers. Two of their expected six or seven signings this summer have already been completed by Spurs.

Spurs have targeted younger players in the past, but now they want to add experienced players as well.

Some at the club feel that it's incorrect that they didn't spend in the past but that they didn't always get the right recruits.

At the moment, Paratici can do nothing wrong. It has been added that they are getting it right in this area.

Player ability and character are being studied. Spurs turned down the chance to sign a talented player because they were concerned about him being a disruptive influence.
