There is still a long way to go before the next Dragon Age game. Dragon Age: Absolution, a six-episode series, is set to premiere on the internet streaming service in December. The trailer doesn't reveal a lot, but you can expect plenty of magic and swordplay in a new saga in Tevinter.

The project is being produced by Red Dog Culture House. Mairghread Scott is a producer of the show.

This isn't a new project for the streaming service. The upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 series is one of a number of game-related shows that are in the works at the streaming service. This production is coming in the middle of a new game for a long-dormant series. It's a bid to revive interest in Dragon Age and court an audience that might not have heard of the games until now.
