According to a new report, the wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas sent emails to members of the Arizona state legislature to overturn Joe Biden's election win.

According to an analysis of emails published by the Washington Post Friday, Thomas sent identical messages to more than half of the Republicans in the state Senate.

"As state lawmakers, you have the authority to protect the integrity of our elections, and we need you to do that now!" wrote Thomas. Fraud and unconstitutional procedures have never been a problem in our nation's history.

The report came a day after the first hearing of the committee investigating the events of January 6th, 2021. Arizona, which Biden won narrowly, was one of the epicenters of baseless fraud allegations, with the Republican Party's state chairwoman promoting the claims and the GOP-controlled state Senate pushing a partisan investigation into the results

While attending the "Stop the Steal" rally, she got cold and left before the riot took place. She denied that she was involved in the planning of the Capitol storming.

Thomas said in a March interview that he didn't play a role in the Jan. 6 events. There are stories in the press about me arranging for buses. I wasn't able to. According to some stories, I brokered feuding of leaders that day. I don't think I did.

The chance to look into important and legitimate substantive questions about achieving goals such as electoral integrity was hurt by the violence.

According to the Washington Post, Thomas has a long history of conservative activism, but her husband has never removed himself from a case because of it. The Supreme Court's rules don't allow for a mechanism to force a recusal, so the decision to disqualify is up to the justices. One of the most conservative justices on the court is Clarence Thomas.

The Supreme Court ruled in January that Trump had to give the materials to the House select committee. Thomas was the only justice who would have allowed Trump to shield the documents from the committee.

Thomas signed a letter from conservative leaders calling the committee an "overtly partisan political persecution that brings disrespect to our country's rule of law, legal harassment to private citizens who have done nothing wrong, and which demeans the standing of the House."

She apologized to her husband's former clerks for her support of Trump. She had been outspoken in her belief that the 2020 election was marred by fraud and had promoted the January 6 rally in Washington.

I would like to apologize to you. She told the staffers who had worked for her husband that she had imposed on them her lifetime passions. My beliefs and passions are shared with the majority of you. Sometimes the smallest matters can make a big difference. Let's pledge to not allow politics to divide this family, and to speak with care across the divide.

Although Arizona's Republican governor certified the election with Biden as its winner in December 2020, other members of the party pushed a fake electoral certificate to show that Trump had won the state. The National Archives processes electoral college certificates before they are sent to congress.

The Congress is adjourned. The elector choice should be sent to the legislature. The congressman from Arizona refused to say that Biden won the election.

Trump has endorsed candidates for the state's top offices who have said the 2020 election wasn't legitimate, including a former television journalist who said she wouldn't certify the 2020 election results. He threw his support behind the state legislator who attended the rally at the Capitol. The idea that the election was stolen from Trump has been pushed by the man.
