According to the Post, some legislators received multiple requests to block Biden's win after Thomas sent the messages.

The day before the legislature certified Biden's victory, Thomas messaged 23 lawmakers, just two days after media outlets declared Biden the winner.

The December 13 message stated that the election was fraudulent and unconstitutional in order to subvert the will of voters.

Thomas sent emails to more than half of the Republicans in the legislature.

The Post reported last month that Thomas had sent emails to two legislators.

Thomas did not reply immediately.

The revelations around Thomas' effort to overturn the election have led to calls for her husband to not be involved in cases related to the January 6 rioting, but he has so far refused to do so. The Post and CBS News obtained a trove of text messages Thomas sent to then-White House chief of staff MarkMeadows in November 2020 urging him to make a plan to keep Donald Trump in office. Thomas used a platform called FreeRoots.com to send direct messages to multiple legislators at once. The platform was used by right-wing activists to try to overturn the election.

The Post reported last month that it's not likely that Thomas will be asked to testify after her text messages were published.

Emails show that Ginni Thomas pressed lawmakers to overturn Trump's victory.

According to a report, the committee plans to ask Ginni Thomas about the election text.

The Arizona Legislature was urged to ignore Biden's victory and adopt a clean slate of voters.
