Brain It On! is a physics based puzzle game that requires you to think outside the box. Drawing lines, shapes, weighted objects, or whatever else you think will solve the screen is done using your finger or stylus. It sounds like it's simple.

Things get more challenging as you progress through over 200 levels, with stars awarded for completing the levels, finishing under the time limit, and minimizing the number of shapes used to solve. Future levels can be unlocked with the help of stars. If you want to remove ads, you can pay.

Bridge Constructor Portal

Bridge Constructor is a great physics-based puzzle game in its own right, but this spin-off takes the concept and adds in all the wacky elements from the other games. While avoiding deadly lasers, pits of acid, and sentient turrets, there are 60 test chambers to complete.

Fans of Bridge Constructor and Portal will be delighted by the cross-over title. It's a pleasure to play with a lot of Portal references and it even has achievements to aid in replayability.

The Eyes of Ara

Have you ever played Riven or myst? The Eyes of Ara is an open-ended adventure where you solve puzzles, find clues, and uncover pieces of the story as you go along. That is what makes it enjoyable and nostalgic. I have a soft spot for games that are difficult for younger people to beat.

It looks good for a mobile game. It's a title that doesn't contain ads or IAPs, so you can just relax and enjoy the puzzler fun. You're getting a lot for your money since it took me a while to beat.

I Love Hue & I Love Hue Too

Two of the most popular puzzle games on the market right now are I Love Hue and I Love Hue Too. ILoveHue is an exercise in logic and colour. When the spectrum is perfect, you drag and drop colored tiles. Variety comes in the form of different tiles being fixed in place for each level, as well as the variety of colors that are bleeding into each other.

With the addition of wild new geometric patterns, the sequel ramps up to 11 and creates an extra layer of challenge. Fans of the original game will love the new tracks that back up the atmosphere.

There are over 900 levels in both titles so you can work your way through them at your own pace. The I Love Hues are free with ads, so they are a great deal.

The best puzzle games are easy to play and hard to understand. A logic game that has you rotating pieces to create shapes of different sizes is called Logic Puzzles, Brain Teasers. The puzzle tells you how many shapes to make and how many pieces to connect.

Sometimes the puzzle looks impossible and then comes together. This is a game that you need to check out if you want to test your logic skills. The former is for people who want the challenge and stress.

You don't have to pay for a cup of coffee to remove ads in Logic Puzzles, Brain Teasers.

Mekorama

Mekorama is a 3D puzzle game with a cute robot going through blocks. The robot is one of the key parts of the game that makes it so memorable because it only has one giant eye and no voice.

The game is very easy to play, you just tap around the screen to move your mechanical pal, and then you can drag blocks and parts of the levels marked with a circle icon to rearrange them.

The goal is to get the robot to the end point. I think it's easy. This ultra-charming puzzler has some impressive tricks up its sleeves and you might find yourself scratching your head more than once.

Things are even more difficult for those looking for a true mind bender when you have 50 levels to go through. If you ever feel like you're stuck, you can swap around 5 more levels so you don't have to worry. Mekorama is a cute 3D puzzle game that is free with in-app purchases.

Mini Metro

Mini Metro has a lot of puzzle elements. As your city grows, you have to draw up subway lines that connect the various stations. It's important that passengers arrive in a timely fashion and that you re-draw your lines to be more efficient.

You will fall in love with Mini Metro because of its minimalist aesthetic, responsive soundtrack, and tons of different game modes. It's the best game to play on the subway.

Monument Valley

Monument Valley is an award-winning puzzle game. You play the role of Ida, a princess who must find her way through a series of structures in order to reach her goal.

The controls are easy to use, just tap to move the princess. It's an experience that makes you look at things from a different point of view.

In a good way, Monument Valley 2 is the same as the first one. If you liked the first one, you will enjoy the sequel.

Piffle

"Piffle" is a real word in the English language. Having played the game first, the definition makes perfect sense.

I have been coming back for months because of Piffle. In Piffle, you play as an adorable little person dressed in a cat suit, trying to save their dog from the evil Doc Block.

What is your plan to save your dog? Throwing piffles at blocks will clear your way to the boss. It's a ridiculous idea for a game. Piffle has a sleekUI, great graphics, simple controls, and loads of mechanics that make levels more interesting.

To be a geometry puzzler, you need to eliminate all the blocks in a stage. Your job is to maximize bounce and power to get the job done because you have a limited amount of piffles and blocks. Fantastic execution, a simple idea.

Piffle is free with in-app purchases. A great value for a puzzle game.

The Room series

Fireproof Games created The Room, a popular puzzle franchise. Old Sins is the fourth game in the series that offers hours of puzzle fun and we recommend it. The adventure series is reminiscent of Myst and Siberia. You can sink a lot of time into this title.

If you like puzzles, the whole series is worth a look. There are no ads or microtransactions in The Room games and they are just spooky enough to keep you entertained.

Samsara Room

Samsara Room is not like the others on this list. The Samsara Room is part of the universe of games created by the creators of the cube escape games. Even if you're not familiar with any of the other games in the series, you can easily play it as a stand-alone game and enjoy it.

We won't give away any of the story because it's an important draw. The only thing you need to know is that the room is much more than you might think. If you need to use a walkthrough to put two and two together, don't feel bad.

In-app purchases are free with Samsara Room. You can either play the game one small puzzle piece at a time or sit down and work your way through the mystery all at once. Samsara Room takes about 3 hours to finish. You don't want to miss this wonderful mystery.

Scalak

Scalak is a puzzle game that can be found in the Play Store. The soothing 3D puzzler takes you through a series of increasingly complex puzzles.

You can spend as little or as much time as you please with this delightful game. It's all backed up by a perfectly minimal, atmospheric soundtrack and the sound design makes completing puzzles feel more pleasurable.

It's free for Play Pass subscribers, so if you haven't already tried it, you should.

Turn It On!

Black box puzzles are the focus of Turn It On. Some of the challenges will push you to your limits. To solve the puzzle, you need to know what each thing does and the correct timing.

You won't know what's going on from the beginning of the game. It has a fun factor. There are more badges to chase if things get too easy for you. It's a hidden gem on the Play Store and I was surprised by how enjoyable it is.

Two Dots

Two Dots is a puzzle game that is easy to learn and difficult to master. The sequel to the wildly popular Dots game requires you to connect as many dots of the same color as possible. New skills and levels are included in the sequel.

Once you've completed the first 10 levels, Two Dots offers a linear adventure of sorts in Treasure Hunt, and you can get a new mode once you reach level 35. There are lots of things to keep you going. The soundtrack is great.

Challenge yourself with a new puzzle game!

There are a lot of other games we love, but puzzle games are one of the best games to play on your phone.

Bomb Club, the best free puzzler on this list, is probably the best game on this list, but if you want to play it for free, you should download it. It's fun, and it gets more and more difficult as you go.

The Monument Valley series are some of the most beautifully designed games in the entire Play Store and feature hours of puzzle challenges. Bridge Constructor Portal is the closest we'll ever get to a new Portal game, because it's the perfect blend of two great games.

We added Scalak to our list.
