During the January 6 Capitol riot, the January 6 panel released a never-before-seen video from inside Kevin McCarthy's office.
Dozens of frantic staffers are seen in the hallway of Rep. McCarthy's office.
The staffers fled McCarthy's office as a radio transmission said people would be moving through the tunnels.
The video was played by the House committee. McCarthy staffers can be seen running through the hallway of his chambers as they watch the violence outside the Capitol.

Ryan O'Toole said that McCarthy neglected to check on his staff after the Capitol attack.
None of McCarthy's staff were able to connect with him regarding the day's events or how to respond to them, according to O'Toole.
McCarthy wanted to push Trump to resign after initially supporting a congressional inquiry into the January 6 riot. The California rep. opposed the January 6 commission and threatened technology firms that cooperated with the inquiry to preserve GOP lawmakers' phone records.
McCarthy went to Trump's Florida estate after the insurrection. According to reports, Trump and McCarthy agreed to work together to help the GOP take back the House in the next election.
McCarthy is working with other House Republicans to come up with an alternative report to counter the panel's findings.
McCarthy was endorsed by Trump for re- election.
