A 5-star quarterback from the Class of 2024 has committed to Notre Dame. He is the grandson of Lloyd Carr.
The Fighting Irish were Carr's choice over other schools.
The No. 5 quarterback in his class is a 6'3" 190-pound prospect from the state of Michigan.
Carr is set to play in the All-American Bowl after his senior season, as he completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,696 yards, 28 touchdown and four picks in his sophomore season.
According to Allen Trieu, the signal-caller is extremely polished. He handles himself like a vet already and is able to throw the football because he is in control of the game. He erased any doubts he had with the way he played last year.
Bryan Driskell predicted that Carr was leaning towards Notre Dame.
He conducted himself at Irish Invasion differently than a kid who is still making decisions. He talked to the kids about more than just 'Hey, how are you?' When you know where you are going, you usually try to get your children to go to school with you.
