  • The first of six public hearings will be held on Thursday.

  • Ted Cruz said he wouldn't be watching political ads for Democrats.

  • He would rather spend his time on personal grooming, yard work, or home improvements.

Cruz offered up three things he would rather do Thursday night than sit through the January 6 committee's prime-time hearing.

My lawn needs to be mowed. My hair needs to be combed. Cruz said that it would be better to watch the paint dry on the walls than to see a political campaign ad for the Democrats.

Cruz bashed the ongoing House investigation as political theater meant to distract a recession-wary populace from all the ways they have failed them.

Cruz told Insider that "from the opening gavel to the end of the hearing, one hundred percent of their endeavor is a politicalHail Mary pass." The American people are not happy with the left-wing policy agenda.

Cruz objected to the electoral votes being counted in Arizona just minutes before Donald Trump's supporters prevented Joe Biden from being president.

Cruz was reprimanded by Tucker Carlson for calling the siege a "violent terrorist attack".

Cruz apologized for making a dumb choice of words.

Cruz smiled when he was asked if January 6 committee staff would work up some policy proposals that would make his workplace safer.
