Stephen Curry appeared to have avoided a serious injury after the NBA Finals.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium, there is "optimism" that the two-time NBA Most Valuable Player has avoided a serious injury.

Curry will be at the Warriors practice.

There was concern over Curry's left leg after the third game. Boston Celtics forward Al Horford rolled on top of his leg as he and another player tried to get the ball.

The referees calmed the situation down after the incident.

Curry said after the Warriors' 116-100 loss that he would be all right. We're going to see how it responds. Nothing else to say. I don't think I'm going to miss a game. The next 48 hours are a good time to prepare.

Curry entered and exited his postgame press conference with a limp.

There was some uncertainty about Curry's availability because of the quick turn around. Steve Kerr said the team would know more on Thursday.

Curry has been the best player for the Warriors. Through three games, he is averaging 31.3 points on 48.6 percent three-point shooting, 5.1 Rebounds and 3.7 Assists.

The Warriors will need at least one of their other stars to pick up the slack if Curry is limited.

Klay Thompson had his best performance in the finals. In the loss, Andrew was just 1-of-6 from three-point range.

The player who is averaging 24 minutes per game is Jordan Poole. Curry was limited by a foot injury in the first five games of the playoffs.

The Warriors and Celtics will play a game on Friday. There is an hour and a half later.
