Death Stranding Image: Kojima Productions

After Tom Henderson of tryhardguides.com published an article reporting the existence of a new Hideo Kojima game in development under the title Overdose, they requested he take it down. Henderson didn't want to. Henderson told Kotaku that he received an offer to work with him when the game is ready to be announced.

The leaked footage he received from the game appears to feature Margaret Qualley. Qualley ran through a dark hallway with a flashlight as Henderson described. The screen cuts to text that says "game over". Henderson later said that his interaction with Kojima was not hostile. The company has not made a statement yet.

The report is temporarily down as I've added a small update but it needs to be approved (the beauty of writing at 6am).

The update just says "Update - Kojima Productions have since asked for the publication of this report to be removed which we have declined." on the report.

This is the second time a Hideo Kojima joint has been leaked before it's time. In May, Norman Reedus appeared to confirm the existence of the sequel in an interview.

Reedus said it took a lot of work. It was a huge thing when the game came out and it won all the awards.

The Summer Game Fest, which is being hosted by Keighley, is happening at the same time as the leaks. Keighley has told fans to manage their expectations against big surprises. One can never tell with Kojima's quirks.
