Adam Schefter @AdamSchefterSo in all: Rams’ WR Cooper Kupp’s three-year, $80 million extension includes $75 million guaranteed and is worth $110 million over the five years that tie him to Los Angeles through the 2026 season.
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefterThe $75 million guarantee given to Cooper Kupp now represents the highest guarantee ever given to an NFL wide receiver or non-QB offensive player.
It wasn't a surprise that the extension came as well.
Les Snead said on The Rich Eisen Show that they intended to come to a win-win. It would be great to do it before camp. It would be great to do it sooner than later. When there's an element of a player under contract, we feel like he deserves a raise, but with that, there's a lot of variables. Sometimes it takes a bit longer.
In April, Kupp said that he wasn't looking to be the highest paid wideout in football.
He told reporters that he doesn't think that approach is what he takes. There is a place that you want to be. There is a place that you think is fair. This is a place for me. I don't want to beat anyone. I don't want to compare myself to anyone. Being in a place that is just right for both sides is more important.
The Miami Dolphins' Tyreek Hill is the highest paid receiver with a yearly value of $30 million.

After leading the NFL in catches, receiving yards, and receiving touchdown in his first season in the league, Kupp should be one of the top-paid receiver.
In the Super Bowl, he scored the game-winning touchdown and set up the game-winning field goal in the playoffs.
Like Donald, who signed a reworked deal Monday that will pay him $95 million over the next three seasons, Kupp got paid.
