With all of the drama surrounding Cyberpunk 2077, it would be easy to forget that there is more to come. The same team is behind projects such as Kill la Kill. The first trailer for Cyberpunk: Edgerunners has been released, and it is the first trailer for the new series. It is difficult to tell exactly what is happening in the one-minute-long clip.

Cyberpunk: Edgerunners tells a standalone, 10-episode story about a street kid trying to survive in a technology- and body-modification-obsessed city of the future. Having everything to lose, he chooses to stay alive by becoming an edgerunner — a mercenary outlaw also known as a cyberpunk.

Writer Masahiko Otsuka, character designer Hiroyuki Imaishi, and composer Akira Yamaoka are some of the stars of Edgerunners. The show is going to be on the streaming service.
