The results of a statewide recount show that Mehmet Oz won the Pennsylvania Republican Senate primary by 962 votes.
Oz led McCormick by 902 votes, or 0.07 percentage points, in unofficial statewide results as of two weeks ago, well under Pennsylvania's 1.5 point threshold for a mandatory recount.
Oz was a physician and former daytime TV host. Oz was endorsed by former President Donald Trump last month, after which he gained ground in pre- election polling, and eventually overtook a former CEO who was supported by the Secretary of State.
The story will be changed.
