The doctor who rushed to treat wounded children after the mass shooting at Robb Elementary School gave gut-wrenching testimony before Congress on Wednesday.
During the hearing on gun violence, Guerrero said that he would never forget what he saw.
He testified that he raced to Uvalde Memorial Hospital after getting a text message from a colleague. Parents yelling out their children's names and begging for information outside the building were recalled by the doctor when he arrived at the hospital.

He gave a detailed account of what he saw in the emergency room.
The only clues to the identities of the two children were a blood spatter and cartoon clothes that were still on them. He said they were searching for life and nothing.

Miah was sitting in the hospital in shock. Miah told CNN that she smeared her classmates blood all over her and pretended to be dead as she was afraid of the shooter returning.
The shirt she was wearing was covered in blood and she had a wounded shoulder.
Miah's testimony was shown to Congress on Wednesday, in which she described the events that took place in her classroom.
Miah grabbed the classmate's blood and put it over him.
She said that she no longer felt safe at school.
Miah doesn't want it to happen again
The Protecting Our Kids Act, which would raise the purchasing age of semi-automatic guns from 18 to 21 and require background checks on all firearm sales, is scheduled to be voted on by congress on Wednesday.
The parents of a 10-year-old girl who was killed in the Uvalde shooting called on Congress to take action on gun violence and specifically asked for a ban on assault rifles and high-capacity magazines.
To some people, to people with money, to people who fund political campaigns, guns are more important than children. We are asking for progress at this time.

Attorney General Garland announced the Department of Justice's review of law enforcement's response to the Uvalde shooting.
Local police agencies have come under fire for their response to the mass shooting, as well as the disclosure that officers waited for more than an hour before entering the classroom that the shooter had barricaded himself in.
Garland said that they had been promised and welcomed with respect to cooperation by every level of law enforcement. We don't think there will be any problems.
Garland said that Justice Department officials would visit the school and interview witnesses. Once the review is complete, the report will be released to the public.
In his testimony, he said that "innocent children all over the country are dead because laws and policy allows people to buy weapons before they're legal enough to drink beer." The restrictions have been allowed to lapse.
