If there is a way to take the sting out of rising food prices, it is a surprise cart encounter with the Packers' quarterback.

Proffitt's young daughter was happy to meet the Packers quarterback at the farmers market. A couple of casual shoppers in their sneakers are doing a little catching up.

Proffitt wrote that he couldn't get over the joy he brought to his daughter when he decided to post the pictures. She will never forget this, thanks to the man.

Rodgers has a soft spot for connecting with children. A Green Bay Press-Gazette story about him talking to a mother and son of a Chicago Bears fan went public. Two young brothers from Connecticut were spotted by him while in town for a charity golf outing.
