The American airline began service to the capital of the state of Qatar over the weekend.
American Airlines began regular service from New York to the Middle East. The flight will use a Boeing plane. This is the first time that the airline is flying to the Middle East and the second time it is flying to Delhi.
American has tried to expand its international network, but has been hampered by delivery delays of Boeing's new plane. One of the few flights that is able to launch is the one to Doha.
There are regular flights between the airline and the airline's alliance partner. A commitment to the partnership is shown by this move by American Airlines. There were some concerns about the viability of the route after it was announced.

It is refreshing to see a return of international cooperation as the world begins to recover from the swine flu. There was a significant curtailing of international travel in 2020. It came back in some form in the year 2021. It is not likely that we will see the level of connection that we were used to.
