The New York attorney general is looking into an alleged pattern of financial misstatements at the Trump Organization.

Unless New York's highest appeals court orders an interim stay of the subpoenas, the three Trumps will give depositions next week.

The timing would make for a busy July for the former president, as Trump is considering a July 4 announcement of a presidential bid.

The Trumps have fought hard to not testify in the AG's probe.

A lower appeals court upheld a state court decision ordering them to comply with James subpoenas.

Only the highest court in New York can prevent all three of Trump's depositions from taking place.

Lawyers for the Trumps have until Monday to apply for a stay on the case.

"Any application to the Court of Appeals for a stay will be filed on or before June 13," according to an agreement between lawyers for Trump and James that was filed Wednesday afternoon.
