This week, 5.1 surround sound will be available on all of the aforementioned devices. Prior to the expansion, 5.1 surround sound was only available on certain devices. You need a compatible device and a compatible speaker system in order to use 5.1 audio.

If your device and set-up meet the requirements, you will get 5.1 audio whenever you want it. If you don't know if the 5.1 audio is coming through, you can open the stat for nerds window. If 5.1 audio is available for the program you are watching, you will see AC 3/EAC 3 listed in the Codecs section.
5.1 audio on Apple TV, Fire TV and game consoles is still being worked on and will be updated once they are available, according to a statement from YouTube.
The Spanish Plan and Spanish Plus are now available on YouTube TV. Picture-in-picture support was added to the service recently. Users can stream videos in a small, floating miniplayer on their home screen while multitasking on their device
