The Warriors are back. The impact of the resurrection is already upsetting some people in the NBA. Golden State spends money within the salary cap and luxury tax rules.

Other teams are not allowed to do things that Golden State is not doing. Over the long-term, they have been able to re-sign stars. The Warriors have been a perennial contender since the beginning of the last decade.

As long as the core group in Golden State keeps competing for NBA titles, there will always be a gripe. The Warriors made it to the Finals in back-to-back years. Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson made a lot of three-point shots.

Curry changed the game for the worse when players began mimicking him. In the NBA, the game has become more of a three point game. Curry isn't telling people to play like him Players and teams are bound to copy something that works when they see it. Multiple teams around the league did that after the Warriors won their second title.

It was thought that teams who scored primarily from the outside couldn't win a championship. Golden State came very close to winning two titles in a row, but Irving missed a three-pointer. After Golden State lost to Cleveland in the 2016 Finals, all hell broke loose.

People have had issues with this team. If you weren't a fan of the Warriors in the summer of 2016 you might have said bad things about the marriage between the two players. There has been constant opposition to the Golden State dynasty.

They ruined the game by shooting a lot of threes. The team gained an unfair advantage over the other teams. The way Golden State spends their money has become a problem for teams. Warriors owners should sign off on Bob doing whatever it takes to build a winning team. Over the last eight years, it has always come to this team.

The Andrew Wiggins trade was seen as a bad deal by many people. The Warriors were on their way to a 15 win season when they acquired Wiggins. They had just appeared in their fifth consecutive NBA Finals the previous year. There was no Thompson, Curry missed most of the games with a broken hand, and Durant left to join the Nets.

Everyone outside of the bay area wrote the Warriors off. The fact that they made it back to the Finals in the first season after KD left has a lot of people happy. Fans aren't the only ones. The spending habits of other NBA teams are being pointed out because they are looking for something to complain about.

It is similar to the New York Yankees in a number of respects. NBA teams still complain about the Warriors having financial advantages despite the fact that both sports have a salary cap. Golden State is expected to spend the most in luxury tax penalties for the next two decades. That sounds similar to the Yankees.

The Warriors have a lot of local talent in their core. The Yankees have always been willing to sign talent away from other teams. Many of the Yankees' core players came up through the organization.

The Yankees followed the rules that were in place. The Yankees had a number of players through and through. They went and signed big names because they were able to. The Warriors are doing the same things as well.

Sounds like sour grapes. Teams need someone to be blamed for having difficulty competing. They make a lot of bad deals and draft picks that don't work out. It's easy to blame the Warriors. They have been running for a long time. As they continue to make finals appearances, they will continue to be. We may have to start referring to the Warriors as the new evil empire if Golden State defeats the Celtics in the NBA finals.
