The parents of the victims of the Uvalde school shooting decided to bury the two of them next to one another. According to an interview with ABC News, their parents will have their friends by their side when they are laid to rest this week. As toddlers, the 2 were close friends and continued to build their friendship as they grew up together. At night, they would text each other things like "I love you" and Annabell would wear a necklace with a picture of him on it. On the day of the shooting, both students received awards at school and posed for a picture before returning to class. The teacher who taught at Robb Elementary remembers that there were 21 people who died at the school.
