Tech startup founders dream of rapid growth, a huge user base, and stealing the market from an industry leader. Dylan Field and Evan Wallace created Figma, a cloud-based platform for designing websites, apps, logos or just about any software.
Figma is a tool that lets designers collaborate, edit and comment on projects in real time.
Figma's success in stealing the market from Adobe is one of the reasons we're thrilled that Dylan Field, Figma's co-founder and CEO will join us on stage at the event.
The product became available to the public in 2016 when Field was just 20 years old. Figma's valuation went from $2 billion to $10 billion between April 2020 and May 2021. Figma is used by roughly 4 million people.
We will talk with Field about how design work has changed since he co- founded Figma. Field is 10 years into his founder's journey, and we're interested in his evolution as a leader.
The company values include inclusion, creativity and fun. He will be asked how he developed the skills needed to build a company where people want to work.
Field and Evan Wallace began experimenting with design tools built on the web after graduating from Brown University. Figma was started with funding. Field was an intern at O'Reilly Media and other companies.
Dylan Field talks about business growth, the evolution of leadership and the importance of maintaining a company culture that fosters inclusion, creativity and fun.
The event is back in person in October. Save up to $1,300 by buying your passes now. On July 29 prices go up.
