The exodus of stars from the PGA Tour continued Wednesday with reports that Patrick Reed and Bryson DeChambeau will join the LIV Golf series.

The Saudi Arabia-financed upstart has agreed to "multi million-dollar deals" with DeChambeau and Reed to leave the PGA Tour.

There are at least eight players who have resigned their memberships on the PGA Tour to join LIV Golf.

Kevin Na and Branden Grace are two of the many people who have stepped away from thePGA Tour.

Phil is keeping his membership on the tour, but he will play for LIV.

It is believed that Rickie Fowler is close to being confirmed for the tour.

According to Dan Rapaport of Golf Digest, players are leaving the PGA tour to join the LIV tour to avoid being disciplined by the PGA.

One agent said it was to avoid any type of sanction. There is a perceived leverage play. It's not possible to fire me if I quit.

The Saudi Golf League's London event will be subject to "disciplinary action" for violating tournament regulations, according to a statement from the PGA Tour.

There hasn't been official confirmation of how much money players are being paid, but Golf Channel's Brentley Romine reported that Phil Mickelson's contract with the series is worth $200 million.

The issue of whether LIV players can play in golf majors that aren't run by the PGA Tour hasn't been clarified.

LIV golfers can compete in the U.S. Open.

The event will be held at the Centurion Club in London.
