A vehicle drove into a crowd of people in Berlin on Wednesday morning, killing at least one person and injuring many others.

According to the Berlin Fire Department, around 60 emergency personnel have been dispatched to the scene.

A car slammed into a store on the street as it drove into the crowd.

The driver of the car tried to flee the scene and was caught by onlookers and arrested by police.

The Berlin Police have not been able to determine if the incident was intentional or accidental.
