After an early screening hosted by A 24 last night, Everything Everywhere All at Once, starring the matriarch of a Chinese-American family navigating the stresses of tax season for their struggling laundromat and a sinister entity carving a bloody path across the entire multi, was released.

Following its limited release in theaters last month, the film has created all sorts of buzz for its bonkers action, its crazy riffs on the multiverse that sets it apart from the current superhero movie obsession with the premise, and for Yeoh's amazing performance. She is joined by her co-stars as Evelyn and her daughter, Joy, as well as her husband, Waymond, who is returning to the stage after a long absence. The themes of family relationships, lives not led, love, and acceptance are conveyed. Did we mention that Yeoh will get to kick a lot of ass? For a long period of time? It's pretty good.

If you don't have a chance to see it in theaters in the U.S., it's now even easier to see what it's like. If you want to read more about what io9 thought of the film, you can check out the highlights below.
