"I think he'd be great in the locker room, should Las Vegas sign him," Carr said on Tuesday.

Since taking a knee to protest police brutality and racial injustice during the national anthem, Colin Kaepernick has not played in the National Football League, but the Raiders are the only team to have worked him out.

"I don't want to speak for everyone, but I know him and I would get along great," Carr said, following the Raiders' first mandatory. I believe we would do it again. I believe he would get along well with our guys.

Since the two played in the Western Athletic Conference, Carr has been familiar with the man. Three years later, Carr was drafted by the Raiders in the second round.

Carr remembers watching him in college and getting to know him while he was on the phone. I've told you that I enjoyed my time with him. He's a good guy. He has been a pleasure to be with. I've had a good time talking with him and competing against him.

David was with the 49ers after the 2012 draft.

Carr said that his brother loved Colin and that he was awesome.

Carr said he was given a heads up on the workout by the new Raiders coach, but he didn't meet with the quarterback.

Carr said the same thing he was telling you, that he loved him. We would get along well.

Carr said that he was already on the golf course with his two older sons when the workout was done.

Four quarterbacks are on the roster of the Raiders.
