John Hinckley Jr., the man who shot Ronald Reagan, will perform in New York City in July.

Hinckley would like to pursue a music career. He has a channel on the video sharing website.

The sold-out show was scheduled to take place at the Market Hotel in Brooklyn.

On July 8th, Hinckley will take the stage.

A full release of Reagan's "Time to Rock and Roll" will be forthcoming.

The "John Hinckley Redemption Tour" has been canceled in Connecticut and Chicago.

Judge Friedman freed Hinckley from all oversight restrictions in September but said his order wouldn't take effect until June.
