How much will Aaron Rodgers miss Davante Adams? (1:12)

Tim doesn't worry about how Davante Adams will perform for the Packers. There is a time and a place for this.

"I don't know how many more seasons I'll play, but I know where I'll end up," Rodgers said.

After skipping the Green Bay Packers mandatory minicamp as part of his discontent with the organization, he was asked if he intended to finish his career with the only team he's ever played for.

Rodgers said yes.

Everything from retirement to asking for a trade was on the table at one point.

After the first practice of the mandatory mini camp, Rodgers put any doubts to rest. He worked out in Southern California rather than in the voluntary program.

"I'm just here so I won't be fined," Rodgers said with a smile.

He might have only been a little bit serious. A source said that in June of last year, Rodgers received a letter from the team telling him that he would be fined for skipping the mini camp.

His first chance to throw to Sammy Watkins was Tuesday's practice. Allen Lazard, a key member of the Packers' offense, was not at the event.

Rodgers said he loved being around the men. It's been a great time. My training team in southern California put in a lot of hard work. It's great to be back with the guys. Getting reacclimated with some of the older guys is a good thing. It's just about timing and being in the right place at the right time, and it's nice to be back in the building.

They've been good about taking care of me. It has worked out the last couple years by my play.

Packers coach Matt LaFleur initially wasn't sure how much work he would give Rodgers on Tuesday but after seeing that the reigningMVP was in good shape, he allowed Rodgers to take part in almost every drill, including some 11-on-11s that were at a jog- through speed.

"The more these guys can get around each other, the more they can learn each other, the quicker they can start to develop that chemistry that's so important, that we know is so important in determining our success on the field." I'm excited that he's in the building with the young guys and we'll see how he does.

The Packers haven't reached the Super Bowl in any of the three years they've won 13 games. Davante Adams wanted out of Green Bay and was traded to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Rodgers wants the offense to change. 80% of the plays in the passing game were designed for '17, so we're obviously going to do some things a little different.

Rodgers isn't going to practice next week because he won't be able to stay for the final workouts. Rodgers is only thinking one season at a time when it comes to his future. He called his contract extension a series of one-year deals that were done in part to give the Packers salary- cap relief.

"If you say I'm for sure playing two more, three years and then you have a magical season that ends with a championship and think that that might be the best way to ride off, I don't want to commit to something." I don't want to get pigeonholed into it if you say I'm only playing one more year and you have a bitter taste in your mouth.

I'm concentrating on this season. I won't drag it out in the off season. We'll sit down after the season and figure out what the next step is, because the conversations I've had with Brian have been very honest and direct.
