You can now pin up to three posts to the top of your account. They will sit at the forefront of your grid as if you posted them recently.

The feature can be used if you select one of your posts or reels and then tap the three dots at the top-right corner. Hit the pin on your profile. You will see your post at the top left corner of your grid when you return to your profile. Existing pinned posts will be pushed to the right if you add another post or reel.

Since the start of the year, pinned posts have been in the works. Back in January, a reverse engineer spotted the feature, and in April it was officially announced. While many users already use story highlights, which appear as bubble-shaped thumbnail that sit below your profile picture and follower count, to show off different types of content, pinned posts could allow creators to ensure certain posts get noticed.
