HBO Max canceled Raised by Wolves after two seasons

Variety reports that the sci-fi TV show raised by wolves will not be returning for a third season. After it was ordered to series for the cable channel, its first season aired in 2020 and became the top streaming series.

The plot of the first two episodes was similar to the style of Scott's films. "There is a strong sense of foreboding in this world, but you just can't turn away." As other streamers use similar strategies to cultivate a subscriber base, we may see the cancellation of big-budget shows with intense fan followings.

The cast called on watchers to advocate for the show's future before it was canceled. The fate of Raised by Wolves was in jeopardy due to the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery, according to the actor who played Father in the show.
