This new trailer really hammers home the fact that there are a lot of sea beasts in this fantasy world created by the Academy Award-winning director of Big Hero 6. Most of the movie's characters are sailors who are dedicated to hunting down the monsters in the sea.
The crux of the movie is the relationship between the renowned captain/hunter Jacob Holland and a young girl named Maisie. The official synopsis is here.

I don't know which sea beast is the one. Is it something we've seen before? Is the ocean full of monsters that need to be slayed or is there a secret? Is The Sea Beast really a musical, even though it was written by the same person who wrote Legally Blonde and Mean Girls.
Surely we would have heard a sea shanty by this point. The Sea Beast will be on the streaming service.
