The Bears had live contact during practices in May and were forced to cancel their organized team activity practice.

According to a source, representatives from the league's players' union were present at a practice at the team's facility last month. The Bears practices were continued to be monitored by the NFL PA after they issued a warning.

During the off-season, live contact is not allowed according to the collective bargaining agreement. The Bears were reprimanded for violating league rules.

First-year coach Matt Eberflus and general manager Ryan Poles are running the program.

The Bears made a mistake in the off-season, according to the Chicago Tribune.

The team sent an email to reporters on Monday night to let them know that media access would be changed from Tuesday to Wednesday. Bears public relations didn't offer an explanation for the changed schedule.

The Chicago Bears are in their last week of Organized Team Activities before their mandatory mini camp next week.
