The hidden and recently deleted albums in Photos will be a lot more private thanks to a new feature in Apple's newest operating system. You will be able to use Face ID, Touch ID, or a password to gain access to those albums, if you choose to do so.

The albums are hard to find, but they are not protected. If someone knows where to look, they can easily see what's on your phone. People won't be able to see photos in either album if you don't unlocks them. All three software updates will be available this fall, and this new feature will be available in iPadOS 16 and macOS Ventura.

There are other new privacy features in the latest version of the software. Safety Check is intended to protect people in abusive relationships by allowing them to stop sharing information.
