Kyle Rittenhouse claimed on Monday that he would attend Texas A&M University this year, but the school denied it.

Rittenhouse said on the "Charlie Kirk Show" that he would be attending Texas A&M University.

Insider Rittenhouse was not a student at Texas A&M. They couldn't say if Rittenhouse had applied to the school, if he had been accepted for a later semester, or if they would accept him at a future date.

Rittenhouse said on Monday that he would attend the college, which he described as a "feeder school" for Texas A&M.

Insider was told that Rittenhouse had applied to the school but was not going to enroll.

The end of my high school career was taken away from me. I did not have enough time to prepare for the future. I'm looking forward to attending the college district this year.

All students are accepted at the five Texas campuses of the college. He will be moving to Texas at the end of June.

According to the Texas A&M website, more than half of the students who attend the Blinn College District transfer to Texas A&M.

Two people were killed when Rittenhouse opened fire during a protest in Wisconsin in 2020. He said it was an act of self- defense. A jury found Rittenhouse not guilty on five counts.
